Why Cabbage Soup?

If you have been feeling off with your diet, this soup can help you get back on track!

Cabbage helps to reduce water weight and is nourishing and filling. The curry powder improves circulation, thins the blood and assists in cleansing the lymphatic system, all vessels and tissues. Tumeric supports the liver while cleansing the lymphatic system and garlic helps to clear out the lungs. Garlic also has circulatory qualities.

**Note: If you have any thyroid conditions, please enjoy this soup in moderation.

 

 

Ingredients:

  • 1/4 tsp Black Pepper
  • 1/4 tsp Tumeric
  • 1Tbsp Curry Powder
  • 1/4 C. Fresh Parsley
  • 1 Clove of Garlic
  • 1/4 C. Leek or Onion
  • 4 C. Green Cabbage
  • 1/4 C. Celery
  • 1 Can White Beans
  • 2 Handfuls of Spinach
  • Broth or Water
  • Mineral Salt to taste

 

 

Directions:

  • Add all ingredients, except Spinach, into a large pot, cover veggies with broth or water.
  • Bring to a boil and then cover and simmer 30-45 minutes. 
  • Add spinach and stir into soup at the end.
  • Enjoy!
